How
do I donate to the alumni fund?
That's easy: Make checks payable to "St. Paul's Lutheran Chapel Alumni
Fund" and send them to the Chapel. The Chapel address
is:

Iowa City, IA 52245
How
will the money be spent?
Not all the money will
be spent upon receipt. The goal is to save and invest the money
so it will be available should a major need arise that cannot be
met through the subsidy we receive. The board of directors from
the chapel will need to approve the use of the funds.
Who
keeps track of the alumni fund?
The funds are tracked by our chapel treasurer. The monies are
kept in a local savings account separate from our operating fund.
Can I
donate to a specific project versus the general fund?
Absolutely. There are numerous improvements that are
needed, including the endowment, sanctuary repair, or van
maintenance. If you would like to contribute to any of
these projects please note that on your check. We will use
your donation in the way you designate.
Is my
donation tax deductible?
Yes. Even Uncle Sam likes you to donate to the alumni fund.
